Default Suspension fault

I have a 2005LR3 displaying “Suspension Fault”. When I first crank it the suspension can be adjusted , but if I wait a few seconds, the “Fault” message comes on and will not let me adjust the suspension. It’s not that I need suspension height all the time, I would just like to correct the problem before I mess anything else up.

i think you may have accidentally posted in the wrong section. You might want to try general tech or the LR3 specific subforum. Welcome to the Land rover forums though!

Does the compressor come on when you use the switch? Any other symptoms like TR unavailable or HDC Fault? Is the icon red or amber? Does it stick you at Normal Height or Access? Need more info to help diagnose...

The compressor comes on and there are no other symptoms. It will stay at normal height and the icon is amber.

I had the same exact issue w my 08 lr3. We drove it like that for several months. Installing a new compressor did it for me. I got the older version hitachi off eBay that doesn’t need to be programmed. Everything went back to normal. I tried a new air dryer first and that didn’t help. Cost and labor weren’t bad at all

Default Why the Hitachi?

Unless you have rock sliders that make the AMK a pain to fit, I see no reason why not to go with the new compressor. The relay comes with it and the programming is cheap or free if you have the GAP tool.

Thanks! I will try replacing the compressor. I think that may be my problem
