Suspension Issues
im not having any yet but im about to buy a LR3 and i was wondering how often the air-struts fail i know how to replace them myself with aftermarket air-struts but its a big you know what. the LR3 im looking at is 94k miles 2 owner no previous services according to car fax. But just want to know the failure rate cause its $250-$350 per air bag
The spring portion of the unit does not fail very often at all. The shocks that are built in will wear out eventually, just as any shock will. There is no real set mileage for that either, although, you would probably see a ride quality improvement at ~100k miles, but that doesn't mean that they are 'bad' to start with.
