I noted the comments about recalibrating after a fluid change - but after recheckingnthe service manual don't see that recommendation. Is there any LR guidance on this, or this a best practice learned from experience. Thanks!

You are right, it’s not in the LR service manual. It is in the GAP IID manual, though. I learned to do it on the experience of others, but can confirm from my own experience that it is needed. I had a minor issue with the transfer case partially locking/binding and it was improved with a fluid change but only fully resolved after I did the calibrations. I found other anecdotes on the forums consistent with this when researching my issue.
