Thinking of buying this LR3...
Hi everyone, I'm new to Land Rover and am looking to buy an LR3 in the <$25k range, and have come across this specimen at a local dealership. It's not actually an HSE, but it does have low miles and NAV and a ton of other options. Although it says DVD Player in the listing, there aren't any fold down flat panels or headrest monitors. Anyway, does this seem to be priced appropriately for the given year, features and mileage? Is it missing any key options? Is there anything I should confirm with he dealer that it has had done, such as recalls or software upgrades?
my potentially new LR3
2006 Land Rover LR3 SE
NAV, third row, bi-xenon, parking sensors, heated seats...
43000 miles
$22,495
Thanks in advance for your feedback. If this works out, I'll be buying this tomorrow!

1. Buy extended warranty.
2. Use www.statewidelist.com, to search all of craigslist for a particular state (yours and adjacent ones, for "Rover" and your price ranges. Output is grouped by city. This will give you some price guide.
3. Is it a Rover dealership? If not, will they allow independent inspection?
4. That much money and you won't want to get it dirty....

Savannah thanks for the response... Do you recommend buying an extended warranty from the dealership (Porsche in this case), or from the Land Rover dealership (there is one right down the road), or from a third party that just pays for the repairs regardless of where I take it....
Also, I definitely plan to get it dirty, were having a baby next month

Where ever you can get the best deal. We've had posts from members where over $14K of repairs were done under the extended warranty, including an engine. You are new to Rovers, about to have an offspring, you'll be too busy. By the way, eat out all you want right now, that will be coming to an end real soon, right along with sleeping all night. You can search our forum for various horror stories, this is repair and despair under one roof.
