New to forum tried searching but can anyone shed some light on what the ticking noise is from rear lh side around wheel arch area when door open .is IT stops when door is closed. LR3 2006 SE model

Is it all the time, or just around startup? That area makes me think you might be hearing the compressor pumping up the tank and/or suspension.

 

HI its with engine off Open rear lh door and hear a ticking sound .close door and it stops .
