Just a little background: I am on the road for a few weeks at a time, and currently my LR3 is at the airport. I just sold my house and need to move all of my stuff to another city this weekend. I have a '07 LR3 HSE. I am planning on renting a Uhual trailer and load all of my things in to move them, and this will be my first time towing with the LR3.

Do all LR3's have a tow hitch reciever? I do not know if mine does...
If it doesn't, has anyone ever used one of those kits you can attach to your frame and haul before?

Has anyone ever towed one of those Uhaul trailers with one? Is there anything special I need to buy?

you need to install electrics and the tow hitch.

whatever you do, do not let Uhaul touch the vehicle. they **** up every single vehicle they work on. Plus it will make you vehicle stay in the up position and cause all sorts of codes.

take it to the dealer to get the electrics installed properly. the hitch just slides in. it runs around 800 to 900 for both including install
