Im trying to get the LR3 to the east coast by towing it with a 2016 Ram 1500 5.7L 2wd CC. Uhaul website says a car trailer will not work. Wanted to see if anyone had towed their LR3 before and how. Thanks in advance.

 

You can put them on a car trailer but you are looking for a minimum of 7000lb capacity. The LR3 weighs just under 6000 pounds. Oddly it might outweigh your tow vehicle. Depending on your rear axle ratio you may be beyond what your truck is rated for.
