Default Tracking down a cold start belt squeak

I have a 09 LR3 thats had a belt squeak issue for 20-60 seconds on cold morning starts. I replaced the belt earlier this year and that seemed to clear up the problem but not as the nights get colder in SF its back again. When my indy replaced the belt he said he couldn't feel anything wrong with the pulleys.

The squeak is now lasting longer so I have been able to track it down a little more. Ive notice its independent of engine RPM and makes no difference if I turn the AC on or off.

Any tips appreciate on the accessories that run off the belt at a content speed and any ideas on how to track this down.

Check your power steering fluid reservoir to see if you're low.... possible your pump is getting worn out as well.

Thx @EastCost! Will do.

Related question: this might be a dumb question but do both accessory belts run at constant speed, or does one run at constant speed and the other at engine RPM??

Both at engine RPM since they are driven off the crank.

The only thing that might vary from engine RPM is the fan, but that's not belt driven.

You sure it doesn't change at all with engine RPMs?

Not sure if this helps but here is a video of the belt noise. http://d.pr/v/M4Ci3w

It "seems" to be louder on the left side of the engine (when facing the car). You can hear it get quieter and eventually stop after 2mins. Any thoughts appreciated.

Doesn't seem like a typical belt slipping squeak. Seems higher frequency, maybe a bearing going bad somewhere? If you can get a mechanic's stethoscope in there (carefully) see if you can pinpoint a pulley or something.

Any way you can do a video and rev the engine? Still stumped by the not-changing with engine revs.

I will get another video. I checked again the other day after your comment and I guess it does change slightly when you rev it, but really not much.

my guess would be a idler or tensioner pulley bearing

Yeah that seems to point to something smaller that rotates. If it was the belt slipping and you revved it, it would probably get much worse. I'd say it's likely a pulley or tensioner as well.
