Default Tranny does not go to 4,5,6 gear.

My 06 lr3 lost transmission fluid due to a sum leakage.
at first, did not want it to engage until checked the fluid level and was none at the button I put some zf fluid and responded right away but I went out for a drive and I have just three gears working now, 1,2,3.
any ideas on what happened?

Did you get it up to temp and check the fluid while engine running and in neutral ?

How low was the fluid?
How long was it driven before you noticed the leak?
Do you have a LR diagnostic tool that will read potential transmission codes?
