Default Transmission down shift problem

Hi guys, i have a 06 lr3se and sometimes it jerks when switching down from second to first or going into second from first. I took it to the dealership, the first time they replaced the transmission chip or something, but i still have the problem. Does anyone know if this is common or if it is not. When i take it to the dealership, they test drive, and they always tell me "Everythings fine". Thanks in advance for any help

theres a software update for it, they should update the tune in both the engine and the tranny. they should also reset your shift adaptions. take it back, drive the car with a tech or an advisor and have them fix it. its a known problem.

Default trans downshift problems

adaptation should be done after repair, otherwise tcm will be damage.

I occasionally see solenoids cause this type of concern, but I would definitely start with the software update, if applicable.

Fluid level should also be checked, at the appropriate temperature. Low fluid can cause aeration of the fluid, which can run adaptation numbers up, and the one time it doesn't become aerated due to temperature or sloshing fluid, it slams.

Anybody knows , what would be the latest update ? I keep hearing , that nothing was produced, as far as software tranny patches, after 2008.

Default maybe it is mechanical

Here is a link to a piece of the shift selector that rusts away and can create shift problems. The solution is mechanical - kind of something one can understand.
