Post Transmission fault

Hello i have lr3 07 TDV6 with 240k km.
i have a problem with the car shutting off but instantly turning back on, this happens while driving. When it turns back on it gives Transmission fault errror in the dashboard.
I can see when it is going to happen because the lights start flickering beforehand, leading me to believe that it could be the alternator.

i have changed the transfer case module previously and that helped for a while.
i recently also changed the brake light switch, which helped for a couple of days.

appreciate all recommendations!

Its unlikely to be a real trans fault and more likely an electrical signal issue, start with the basics like battery condition, alternator output voltage, earth cables etc.
Was the tc module corroded or damaged, if the dash went dead then came back on i'd be looking at the cluster as dry joints will cause these type of issues.
