Default 2008 Lean Code Help

i have a 2008 lr3 that keeps giving me a lean fuel code on both banks. The engine will shut off sometimes when at idle when first started up. If i put the car into drive or reverse it will not die. This just seems to happen when in park. I have tried the following to resolve the issue....
1. New MAF sensor
2. New air filter
3. Cleaned throttle body
4. New PCV valve

Still getting the codes. Any ideas???

Here's a few ideas - reset fuel adaptations to relearn throttle body position since you cleaned it, smoke test to check for air/vacuum leaks, and direct clean your injectors. My persistent lean codes a while back were eventually fixed when I replaced my injectors.

For starters you need a GAP Tool (or equivalent) that performs that reset.

I believe a "hard reset" will reset fuel adaptations in the LR3 if you don't have a suitable scanner. That's when you disconnect both battery cables and use a jumper to bridge them (bridge the cables NOT the battery terminals) for 5 or 10 minutes to drain all residual voltage from the system computers.
The GAP tool is the easy choice for a scanner for the LR3, but any halfway decent bi-directional one will be able to reset fuel adaptations.
There's a good Youtube vid by the RSW software guy showing how to clean the injectors. You will need some tools to clean them in vehicle, or you could take them out and clean each one with a simple injector cleaning adapter. You'll need to also check them for proper resistance values with a multimeter.

I don't think so. I'm not 💯 but I don't think doing a hard reset will clear adaptations.

Yeah, I'm definitely not 100% sure either

Was the MAF sensor OEM?

Also check the air intake ducting for cracks. Common issue.
