Default Transmission Fault limited gears available

Hello all, was hoping someone might be able to help with this. Recently changed rear brake brake pads and also both front hubs as the bearings had gone. Subsequently got the transmission fault and now can’t shift out of park. Plugged into code reader and have VSS fault also. Brake lights are working ok, new battery fitted, and alternator readings are good. Can anyone help as to what might be the problem and fix please? Grateful for any assistance. Thank you 👍

Need to know vehicle specs but since you mention a VSS then you would have to have a manual transmission in a TDV6. The speed sensor is located on the transmission. Or you posted in the wrong forum and dont have an LR3?

/Apologies, it’s a 2007 Discovery 2.7 TDV6 HSE auto with 105k miles.

I would assume that the VSS refers to ABS sensor since its used for vehicle speed, check that the they are seated correctly in the front hubs and give them a clean.
