Default Transmission Fault Warning

hi gents. Wondering if I can seek your thoughts. LR3 with 217k. For last 20k when I move to put in drive after startup I’ll get a transmission fault warming. Car runs drives and shifts totally fine. The fault doesn’t come back unless I do a shut off and restart. For example, if engine is running and I throw in park and then back to drive, the fault does not reappear. Hmmmm.

if you read the ECU for the rear diff it will likely say the your rear diff is "not calibrated". If after attempting calibration is still give the fault, you need a new rear diff lock motor. And then a calibration after installation.
