I would suggest you take your LR somewhere else forsure. If a leak if grounds to replace a major component they have no idea what they are doing. Having had oppertunity to have a close look and do so work on them nothing real special. Its the understanding how they are wired. For a unit that is meant for such off road use I an amazed the amount of open area connections. As for your tie rod ends a good alignment shop should be able to replace that problem. After market parts are availible.

I think I will change the diff fluid myself. Looks very simple to me.. However, i did get under the truck and noticed where there was a leak at the back seal. Kinda looks like it is seeping a bit rather than a major leak,, Feels like moist dirt around the seal area.. After reading a little about the breather tube thing, I would think that my issue could have been caused by a blocked breather tube that built pressure and forced fluid through the seal. LR knows this to be a problem according to their Tech bulletin #LTB00245 I would like to think that LR would take care of the LR3 owners with this known design flaw. ?????

I'm not gonna get into the whole dealer thing...

If you just have some seepage at the diff, degrease it, change the fluid yourself,
put the breather on, keep an eye and ear on it.

If you choose the diff repair, look for a good local transmission repair shop,
or you can attempt it your self.
