Default A TSB I hadn't heard about...

I was messing around on an Overland website last night and came across info about a TSB issued in 2014 I had never heard of. Anyone had this done or know more about it? The part number referenced, curiously, is shown to go in the front, like behind where the driver's front wheel is, but the TSB shows it in the rear. Hoping to get that reconciled.

I'll try to attach all that I have.

It's no big deal just a braided nylon wire protector/sleeve.

The Stealer did mine when the truck was in for other "warranty" work. If it had not been that the truck was there I probably would have either never done it or just installed a sleeve myself.
You can get this stuff cheap at places like Summit Racing, etc.

OverRover:

1. Did you get this done per this TSB per se?
2. Why? Did you have any wiring issues that led to that?
3. Was this indeed in the rear (driver's side) wheel well?

If it is what I think it is

they added that sleeve to combat corrosion due to abrasives, road salt, magnesium chloride etc getting in through the wheel wells and into that localized area of the wiring harness. Supposedly the sleeve protects that specific area.

Yes, that's exactly what I think as well....and even though I don't encounter a lot of that stuff here in the Pacific NW, to me it's cheap insurance and I want to do it. Again, the only thing holding me back from ordering the "kit" is the misleading and conflicting information. The parts diagram shows it in the front. The TSB shows it in the rear and calls out the same part whose diagram shows install in the front.

???????

I only ever heard about needing it on the rear location, but you could just do both...

You could even just get some wire loom and DIY. I just did a 15 foot new wire run on the 110 and loomed/sealed myself. Super 88 electrical tape is great for durability

Within the first year of ownership, I went all around the underside and put that plastic (corrugated) sleeve stuff over any exposed wire ends I saw. This area (by the rear wheel well where there is a bunch of wires bundles coming together) always troubled me, though. 13 years in, I probably don't have much to worry about, but it's a "forever vehicle" for me, so might as well do this now.
