Default Turning question

Since day one, everytime I turn the steering wheel max to the right, I hear a clunking noise coming from the engine compartment area. It doesn't make any noise when I turn them to the left. According to the dealer it is normal. have anyone experience this at all? Any feedback is appreciated.

I had that too, although mine did it turning either way. The dealer said there was some bulletin about it and they greased the something or anothers and haven't had it again.

Same problem here when I first bought my LR3. Mine was doing it on both directions. Took it to the dealership and they said it was a common problem and it was quickly fixed by greasing the turn stops. Not a single sound 6k miles later.

Amazing, when I test-drove '06 SE, it had the same when turning to the max in both directions. The dealer said it's normal and to inform the driver that the wheels has reached the turning limit (!!). It was pretty funny...
