Default USED 2005 LR3 ISSUES

I just purchased a used 2005 LR3 and joined Landroverforums.com. I have been reading through may of the forums and have noticed many people referring to “issues” that the 2005 LR3 has. My LR3 has 32,000 miles and has only been serviced at Land Rover dealerships and has no aftermarket modifications. I was hoping that someone could let me know about these “issues” so I can have them checked out by the dealer. I am taking my car in 8/20/07 to have a tow wiring kit put on and would like to have any other issues resolved at that time since it will not need to be serviced for almost 5,000 miles and don’t want to be constantly taking my car into the dealer. The car seems to be running fine without any issues at this time and has performed well on the highway and during light off-road driving.

The only things I have noticed is a ticking noise during acceleration and a jerk in the transmission sometimes when accelerating from a very slow speed (less than 2 miles per hour, I admit that I roll through stop signs and do not make a complete stop). There is also something rattling around in the rear of the vehicle. I have checked all of the compartments, panels, etc for loose objects and I am unable to identify where the sound is coming from. I think that it may be the rear glass but could be wrong. I am going to have the dealer check it out when I take it in.

If anyone can send me a list of potential issues or things that I should check on my vehicle I would be very appreciative.

I notice a jerk in the transmission when accelerating from a stop on my '05 with 32,000 miles as well. Usually its after a hard stop. I've been meaning to post on here about it. I also notice the rattling in the rear. I was checking it out yesterday and believe it's the left (driver's) sidelower compartment coverin the cargo area. The cover seems to rattle if I hit the interior panel. So you're not alone. As forany otherissues, Ihave not really had any to mention so I can't help you out, but there a plenty on here who have.
