New user here, long time stalker. I've been considering a land rover LR3 for a few years now and am ready to make the plunge. There are not many LR3's in my area (Lansing, Mi) so I'm searching nationwide. Can anyone offer any insight on buying a land rover out of state, what is a fair price range (this pandemic used vehicle market is crazy!), etc.? This potential LR3 will be my daily driver (I have a back up, and do all of my own maintenance) and am looking for a truck with ~120k miles and less - I know this is pretty limiting considering the age. Thanks for any advice!

 

There are dozens in Detroit area. Some good, some not so good. Buddy picked up a stunning specimen for dirt cheap from Detroit area just recently. Look on FB Maketplace, that is far more popular than CL or even eBay.

Fair prices are what you are willing to pay for what you want. Prices for early LR3s can still hover around 10k for a low milage fine specimen. They can also be has for as little as $2k in working condition with some defects. You need to look, look more and dont jump the gun. I am across the pond in NE Wisconsin if you find any here you need me to look at. Im not buying, so no worries on me snipping a deal on ya.
