Default VHF/UHF Radio in 2007 LR3

I am wanting to install a 2 M/70 cm two-way radio in my 2007 LR3 HSE. I am installing a Yaesu 7800R with a detachable head unit, so i was thinking of installing the body of the radio in the cargo area. This radio pulls (approximately) 9A at 13.8V, or about 125W when transmitting.

My issue is, what is the best way to get power back to the cargo area. There is an auxiliary outlet, which I think is fused with a 15A fuse and according to the manual can handle up to 180 W. Anyone think I will have an issue using this outlet? If I do need a higher power alternative, any suggestions on where to get power from the battery? I have no idea how to route a cable through the engine compartment fire wall. I was thinking of tapping into the fuse panel behind the glove box, but I was wondering first if anyone had done a similar installation.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Chris
