Default Volume button not working on radio

Hi all
The radio is not working in my 2006 LR3, actually the volume button is not working therefore the speakers are not playing sound. The radio works, changes stations CD player pays and changes but no sound. I disconnected the battery for about 30 minutes then reconnect and still the same. Any ideas, could there be a fuse issue or maybe the volume button broke?

Thanks

I have run into this, it usually resolves itself, I have yet to find the cause , do you have water intrusion? Or a low battery I.e. not charging or bad cell

Not sure where to look for the water intrusion? No problems around the sunroof or windows. How can I tell if the battery is low? Starts fine, runs fine and no messages? I'm new to Land Rover if you can't already tell.

Thanks for the info!

PS I got some some Land Rover projector puddle lights as a gift, guess what my LR3 has no puddle lights! So I found a post, one you wrote I think, that explains how to install. it was good to hear that the light plugs are already there!

Your amplifier could have went out, hence no sound. Just a guess, I've never actually ran into the problem.

I have this problem as well except my volume won't change....getting sound but can't adjust radio at all... Yes, water from heavy rain seeped into because my lining above my visors were wet

Clean the sunroof drains out right now. There is a sticky at the top of the LR3 section...

oh and sorry to hear about radio problems. Stay dry!

When this happened to me, I pulled the fuse behind the glove box and it seemed to fix it. Not sure why it happened, but restarting didn't help.
