My rear windows don't go down and I can't seem to find the window module. If someone could tell me where to find that on my 2007 it would be much appicated.
I am pretty sure windows are ran from The BCM (Body Control Module). I could be wrong, would have to look at wiring but that is what I recall. Nonetheless the modules is really, if ever, at fault. I would pull the switch pad in the driver door and verify the lock-out switch is not defective, they do fail. But first you can try holding the down button for a minute or two. Basically for a stupid long time and see if the window comes back to life. It apparently forces some sorta reset. Sorta like how an inoperable sunroof also resets with this method.
I have tried holding the window switch in the down position for about five minutes and nothing happens. I will try to take the drives door switch apart and see if I can see anything.
Did some digging for ya, see if any of this can help. Look like they actually most route to the central junction box. I learned something new tho, each window has its own separate fuse. There is also a relay, so check that.
I just pulled the drivers door switch and I could jump the front window with a test light and make them go up and down, I can't make the rear move back jumping them like I can from the front windows.
I just tried jumping the isolator switch and then jumping the rear window, nothing. I looked at the wiring diagram and I really don't know how to read this kind of stuff. It just seems weird that both windows don't work.
I can only think its some sorta damaged wire. If power is provided via a junction in the sills and there has been water damage, then I would start there.
