In the rocker sills. So pull up that plastic trim along the bottom of the door openings and then teh large plastic part under that. A bit of work to get to the wires but then you can inspect the connections for corrosion. You would have to read the wiring diagrams to really narrow down where they are routed and which colors to look at.

So it has been some time since I have posted on this thread. Where I left it, I couldn't get the rear windows to operate. So I had many other things on my plate, so I didn't worry about it and my son is driving it and it really not my problem. So he told me the other day that the windows are working now and we did nothing. I just love these cars, dam mind of their own. However, I just posted in another thread that the sunroof leaked at the car wash. I'm thinking that the leak has caused some corrosion under the passenger's footwell and now that it isn't raining anymore here in sunny southern California the footwell is drying out. I'm still betting I need to pull up the carpet and see what is going on and fix the sunroof leak before my son takes it to Montanna to go to school. It's much harsher weather than the central coast of California. Love to know your thought if I'm on the right track.

hello,
i'm having this issue with my 2008 LR3. i have seen this suggestion (holding down the switch) and have a coup[le questions. first-what position should the key be in? second-what switch am i holding down for up to 5 minutes? switch on the main panel or the switch on the rear door?
i tried swapping the front switch with one that works all 4 windows on another truck and it didn't fix it. pulled the window fuses and they look to be intact.
thanks in advance for the help!

Gregg
