Aloha, I own an 06 LR3 base.

Today I found a wiring connection behind the grille. It was hanging from original clips and leads back to behind the bottom of the right hand headlight.

Does anyone know what it’s for?

I would search the the wiring diagrams for a color match of wires to ID then. There were numerous options, not all were equip in every vehicle.

My guess is the smog sensor plug (not used in the US) but, a picture would confirm I am wrong.
