What did you do to your LR3 today?

I guess I was looking at the colour of the pale ale.
I suppose the hint was the body colour - silver vs black, but at least I did note the ale, (or it is lager), and did a little research - Oregon it appears!
The tasting room menu looks pretty appealing as well. It would be worth a drive I would say. A gaggle of 3's and 4's parked out front would look not out of place either.

I actually did NOT wish for snow in NJ this weekend as I had to replace a rear driveshaft, that was shooting grease from a CV by the T case .Later found out that center bearing is also shot completely .Good thing , that I installed a new one then, it was really on it's last leg.
I guess at 210 000 I can't complain.

Actually I did not detect any significant enough symptoms to look under the truck and poke around.I discovered the damage while changing engine oil on the driveway after Florida trip.
I usually do a visual check up on undercarriage with a headlight on my forehead and then look around for leaks or signs of wear and tear.Actually on the second thought , I did have a slack on the back, while accelerating in heavy traffic, but nothing significant .Now it is a lot more solid .

Does that center bearing come with the driveshaft if you order the assembly? I should know, I changed it a while back but can't remember what came in the box. I suppose I can go out to my shed and look in the old box and see what's in it!
PS - when I say "I changed it out" that really means I had it changed out for me!

Yes , The rear driveshaft is long and their two parts are connected by a center bearing.Mine was beyond repair .i guess I should not complain , it lasted 12 years of mixed driving conditions, from extreme cold to a 120 F , deep snow, sill infused waters of NJ pine barrens and deep mud ruts of Maine and VT.
