Does anyone know what happened to Disco Mike? He was a great help when we had our Discovery I snd our two or three Discovery IIs. I have not seen a post by him in several years. Phil.

My take: He got run off this board because he was often sharing information relevant to the D2 but not accurate for the LR3, and did so in a matter-of-fact way. People called him out quite a bit, and I think he just sort of bailed on this forum.

 

The worst part about Disco Mike was every thread would end with "give me a call and I'll talk you through it" and nobody ever updated the thread with the actual solution. So many threads end that way it makes searching for an obscure issue tedious.

 

I thought the worst part was that there was always an undertone of disdain for the LR3 (he was a D1-D2 guy) and most of the time his information was incorrect.
