Default Wheels/Tires....not 20's

Greetings....Im new to this board and yet to have purchased my LR3. Like with all my cars, I like to purchase aftermarket accessories to make my vehicles unique. As will be the case with the LR3. Now Im looking for wheel sizes, either 18 or 19 but the widest/tallest tires I can go without rubbing on the inside. I want the wheels/tires to stick out maybe an inch at the most past the fenders. Im sure I will have to go with custom rims but does anyone have an idea of what offset I will need for this to be done? Any assistance is appreciated.

Check out the Tire Size vs Mileage thread its just a few threads below this one.
I just mounted my 18" LR3SE stock wheels with the Cooper Zeons, 285/60/18 and they look great.
So far, they seem quiet, do not rub and makes the LR3 look mean and ready for dirt.
I'll post pics later this weekend.

The 285's are about as big as you can go. You don't really want to go to a larger wheel and tire, you will loose comfort, wear out faster, not be good at all off road and you will have clearance issues.
