Default Where to buy transmission speed sensor?

Truck is at the shop and has been shifting poorly into 4th and the occasional error. Shop says they are getting a transmission speed sensor error but they cannot find the part alone only with the valve body (2500$). I called a couple places including the dealer and cannot find either. Including Rangers North. Anyone?

I have used, good working valve bodies, but I’m not familiar with that part.

if you can get more info, I can get one for you.

There are two speed sensors on the transmission mechatronic. Couldn't tell you which one you need for your situation. The TSS looks like it could be replaced, not sure how the OSS is connected to the mechatronic.

You can't find it because that isn't exactly a Land Rover part number. There is a THC500012 which is a transmission valve body. Maybe Abran can help you with a replacement mechatronic/valve body assembly. I can't say for sure that you'll be able to graft that into your vehicle as the mechatronic is serialized to an individual vehicle. Has anybody out there tried to install a used mechatronic in another vehicle?
If you knew which of the two sensors is faulty, you may be able to change one or both out with a used one, or you could try a transmission part supplier for the ZF 6HP26 for new sensors. Remember, Land Rover doesn't manufacture transmissions and parts, so you may be able to find them under a ZF transmission or other supplier label. That said, Land Rover uses proprietary software to run them, however.
I have a mechatronic and valve body out of a Ford 6R60 that may have the parts you need... But see what Abran has first.
