I recently purchased a 2005 LR3 HSE. There is a whislting noise coming from somewhere. The Land Rover dearship says it is caused by the luggage rack attachments. I do not have a key to the attachment. TheLand Rover dealership said it is impossible to make another key. Has anyone else had this whistle problem? And, does anyone have a suggestion on removing the attachments?

go to a locksmith, they can take it right off... as to the noise, yeah, they can cause alot

 

It is more than likely the Roof Attachment, I have the Factory LR one and around 45mph it whistles. You can only get the key made from a locksmith LR cant get you one..

 

I have the yakima rack and it is loud but I don't have the wind deflector for it.
