Default Will it void my warranty...

...if I don't have the dealership do the 60000 mile service? I'm at 53k and I just don't think I'll have the $800 for the service. Can I do the work myself ifkeep receipts? We bought it in August and promptly lost our butt on it when the economy tanked. I'm about $10000 upside down now and don't want to lose the 75000 mile warranty. Thanks in advance.

Zach

PM me and I will walk you thru the service, or find an independent who will do it for less.

I don't locate shops, I tell people how to do it them selves and save $500 plus in labor.

Provided you save receipts, either for parts when you do it yourself, or for another shop doing it, it is a violation of federal law for a dealer (or mfg) to claim that your warranty is void for such service. Many will still imply it is, but ask them to put it in writing and they will back down because they realize you know they are lying.
