Bead of RVT between the cowl and the glass; physical barrier on the pollen filter housing. I used one of those flimsy plastic license plate inserts you see at the dealership before vehicles are registered.

do you have a pic i can reference to? Not really picturing it at the moment. Lol

I used a butyl cord to seal the top edges of mine and seems to be working fine.

I have found several pics.. But now looking to see if you have measurements on that shield? I have the LR3 parked at my parents place and used as a spare car (rising gas prices had me invest in a commuter/beater) and wont be able to do physical measurements until i attempt to replace the cowl.. Wanted to be prepared and ready for this when i tackle it...

No....but just measure a license plate! That is the size of my shield. The butyl cord is a great idea. Low profile and as long as it adheres strong that would be great; I'd go under the cowl. It's double-sided tape.

i wonder if those magnetic signs would work.. i have access to some at work.. if i remember right, the lr3 is mostly aluminum i think... some magnetic lights i have dont stick....
