Hello. The right side of the front windshield heater elements do not heat up on my 05 LR3. Have not for some time and decided to investigate the issue. I've checked the fuses and they are good. Since the drivers side (Left) works I assume the relay is OK. I would like to check the wiring connection at the glass but not sure where it is located. I have looked on the forum and web with no luck. Maybe close to the firewall or behind the pillars? Does anyone know where these connections are located?

 

The entire left side (my driver's side) does not defrost. So I started to research it a year or 2 ago. But I suppose I became busy with other repairs... Anyway, I seem to recall that the wiring connection is top left? Disclaimer - I am probably massively wrong.

 

Hi there. Answer to your question on the wires to windshield. You have to remove wiper blades then the cowling there undernieth that. Not a hard job.
