Default Partially Heated Front Windshield

My front windshield leaves about a 3.5 inch, vertical stripe that does not defog when I turn the front windshield heater on. It is right in the middle of the driver's side and is very annoying. I have to lean one way or the other to see around it. I was wondering if there was any way to fix this without changing out glass.

I thought I saw a liquid you could buy for the back glass that would complete the circuit.

yes you can buy a conductive liquid that will repair the heater elements in REAR screens, but thats because the element is on the surface of the glass. In front heated screens, the elements are "in" the glass, so you cannot connect / get to them.

One reason why should always be careful when cleaning rear heated windows, and always clean / wipe them in the same direction as the elements, not across them as you "can" break the circuits.

That makes sense... I guess I will have to wait till the window breaks.
