Windshield Side Moulding
Driving on the highway today and enough wind must have gotten under the windshield mounding and it came loose popping a few clips off. Reseated it but a few miles down the road it happens again.
I assume it's ok to drive missing that piece until I can get some replacement clips? Just want to make sure In case the moulding was important for waterproofing.

That happened to me once as well, similar scenario...side-wind REALLY howling near the Columbia River Gorge. Came off twice but after the second time I really banged it back on (with the heel of my fist) and that did it. I don't think I'd lost clips.
Generally, replacing all clips with new ones helps fix this. The clips are often one time use. After that, they are too loose. I keep having to pop my lower door trim back on any time I drive through water because the clips are tried and they are the same clips used up there.
My newly acquired 2007 SE seems to have had this problem before. I don't know if they replaced the fasteners, but they did come up with a fix that seems to be working so far.

can't seem to turn it upright, but you get the idea.
