10 year old LR4 creaking - normal?
I had a first ever LR4 test drive today, it was a pleasant experience overall, except for one thing - steering and suspension emitted quite strong creaking sounds while in motion (turning wheels while stationary, changing suspension modes, switching ranges, switching from D to R and back). That's a stark contrast with all other vehicles I've had and still have, some double that age.
Is that sound normal for this age for LR4? I think it would be worth noting that this particular vehicle was sitting on the dealer lot for over three months.
I would say that this is the best approximation of the sound it makes. If this was a normal street vehicle, especially just 10 years old, I'd walk away. But since it is, a vehicle that could've been used offroad at least theoretically, and will be used offroad, I'm having these funny second thoughts
