2010 Range Rover Sport Filling Air Suspension
I have a 2010 Range Rover Sport HSE. I had a front right shock blow out. I evacuated the air from the system using my Gap Tool IID. The air system still worked the dampener was blown, every time I ran over any type of imperfection in the road, it sounded like the front end was about to fall off. I removed and replaced the shock (pain in the tail). When I tried to air up the system, it isn't working. The middle screen shows that the system is filling, I get a notice on the dash screen that says that the air suspension system is not in control of the customer. I am thinking that the compressor died or that one of the fuses is bad. I checked the fuse under the hood in the fuse box next to the battery, it was good. Now I need to jack up the driver's side and remove the compressor cover and check the compressor and second fuse. I am getting a code - u3000-53 (AF). Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks Phil
ps when I removed the original shock, a greasy greenish fluid came out of the air connection hole on the top of the shock. I didn't see any fluid in the air line on the vehicle.

Gap Diagnostics is the best! After an exchange of emails with Patrick at Gap Diagnostics, the Range Rover Sport is running at normal ride height. It took a few tries and a little patience, but it worked. The solution: Menu - Service Test- Suspension....Re-enable. Set normal tolerances. Build Mode, make sure that it says activate to Normal or Standard. Hope this helps if you find yourself riding low. Phil
