Default 2010 Range Rover Sport HSE 5.0 CEL P0430

Well, if it isn't one thing, it is another. I got the misfire issue resolved with a new plug and ignition coil. Truck was running great. Readiness codes are reset for a smog test, so I was driving it around to try to get them to reset. After about a 90 mile drive with multiple stops and restarts, I got home and was greeted by a CEL. P0430 cat below optimum efficiency. I am "told" that the spark defouler or non-fouler method will resolve the P0430 code, for off-road use only of course. However, I am also "told" that it might cause another code, Bank 2 Sensor 2 O2 sensor not working properly. Has anyone dealt with the P0430 issue and if so, any resolution?

Side note, my driver's side seat belt receiver had the trigger blown. I got a replacement, in working order, from a local wrecking yard, $25. Best deal I have found at a wrecking yard in a year. Further side note, when using my Gap Tool, all is well. When I use my Innova reader, it cancels out my remote, I have to start the truck by holding the remote under the steering column for 30 seconds and the remote door locking won't work. If I disconnect the battery and reattach, the remote works again. Very odd.

Radio HD, my HD isn't working. I see that this happens, but it isn't a common occurrence. Has anyone found a fix for this issue?

Truck drives well, I need to get the tires balanced, slight vibration. This 2010 Grey RRS is noticeably noisier than our other 2010 RRS. Sounds like creaking noises from the roof.

That said, the grey one has some great features, heated seats and steering wheel. Lumbar support and adjustable side bolsters and nicer leather. Thanks Phil

My truck passed smog! The smog shop guy suggested that I take the rover out for a 30 mile drive on the freeway, keeping the speed between 50 and 55. Not the safest thing to do on San Diego freeways, I was afraid that I was going to get run off the road. Did the road trip and a few other around town jaunts. Took it back to check the readiness codes and all was good! Hooked it up to Sacramento and it passed. Truck still has a rhythmic almost rolling vibration after driving for a while and then idling. Very strange. It didn't impact the smog test and it isn't showing any pending codes. Brake light came on, time for rotors and pads all around, along with new sensors. Love Rovers......Phil
