Purchased a 2011 LR4 Luxe with 98,000 on it to serve as my daughter's first car. Had the car checked out and it has been well cared for and shows very well. My Mother is from London so I grew up with British cars. We walked home a lot. Still, I've always felt that cars should be something of an adventure. Half the fun of owning a British car is not knowing for certain if you are going to get to your destination and back home without some sort of an issue, right? So I had some minor paint work done on the roof of the car and the body shop manager said he had to "re-program the sun roof opening system" to make it work. It worked fine a week or so back when we drove the car for a few hours. In any event, now I can't get the rear wiper to shut off. The book in the car was not very helpful. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Does the car think it is back in England and just assumes that it must be raining? Thanks in advance for any help offered!

 

Push the wiper stalk towards the cluster that should shut if off. If that doesn't work than pull it towards you I might have it backwards

thanks! I will try that today. Still hiding the car at my hangar until next week so I have time to figure this car out. I'm sure it's something silly, just like what you are suggesting.

 

same thing happened to me when I first got the LR3
