Default 2012 LR4 shutting off

Good day,
Our 2012 LR4 HSE keeps shutting off. All electricals still work. This all began happening 1 week after a new battery was installed. Perhaps coincidence. It also began happening 1 day after the gas was ran low, 6 miles until empty type low. Perhaps coincidence as well. There is the back story. Never had any issues whatsoever until now. It has been a great vehicle! This is our 2bd LR. We had an LR3 with zero issues.
Ok, after 1st shut off, it had a hard start. It started, we thought perhaps bad gas. Drove it 20 yards into a gas station and filled it up the rest of the way. It had half a tank already. It started up fine, then engine died within 50 yards. Started up fine, drove it another 50 yards to mechanic shop. He hooked up scanner and said it had an intake leak code and MAF code. He cleared them, started vehicle and it died again. This time it had P0087 low pressure in rail code. We replaced both high pressure pumps and tank low pressure pump. It ran for the weekend and engine shut off again. Just randomly. No sputter, no jerking, no misfire, just dies. Only the engine, not the electrical. No new codes, none. We drove it home. We called dealer and asked if the ecu may need to be reset due to battery swap and they said no. That it could be anything and without any CEL or code alarm they would start replacing parts until it fixed...at $165 an hour. No thank you to that deal. We then took it to a shop that specializes in euro type vehicles. No codes on scanner as it thankfully shutoff. None. Zero. We changed the crank sensor just to eliminate that idea. We cleaned throttle body, MAF sensors, MAP sensor, and installed new air filters. It drove for 2 days and shut off. It starts right up real easy. No long cranks. Yesterday we got the "gas cap loose" display. We ordered a new one. We only drive it short distances now, yet it has not fixed. Sometimes it runs 2 days before shutting off. Sometimes it runs 5 minutes. No real pattern. While running, on "live data" on scanner, tech did not notice anything out of the ordinary even at time of shutoff. Any new ideas? Perhaps someone else may have gone through this. It is the 5.0 V8. No chain slap either. Idles at around 700 rpm on the scanner. Idles quiet. Many thanks.
