2016 LR4 3.0 V6 US spec

Those trims don’t look too bad. Does it misfire/hesitate at 3000 when in park/neutral, or only under load? If only under load, I’d monitor fuel rail pressure and demanded rail pressure and try to get it to act up. If fuel pressure stays close to demand, you can probably rule out fuel delivery issues. At the same time, you could monitor airflow sensors 1 and 2.

Great news
The misfire is solved
The LR4 wasn’t setting and diagnostics faults but the BlueDriver has a Mode6 function that showed a count of misfires on Cyl 6. I swapped the plugs between cyl 6 and Cyl 4, the misfire followed the plug. I fitted a new spark plug today, and everything is great.
thanks for the help in this forum - you guys are awesome.
it does beg the question why the OBD2 system on the Labd Rover didn’t detect this - the good news is that I’ll never fail the CA Snog test.
It’s also surprising that a brand new NGK Laser Iridium plug can be defective out of the box.
Hopefully I’m not celebrating prematurely
