I'm just purchased a 2016 LR4 HSE Silver Edition which is lovely but it's missing a couple of things that I would like to figure out if I can add them after the fact.

First, it doesn't have heated seats.

Second, the car interior doesn't have ambient lighting where your feet go or in the door handles or on the exterior of the car under the running board when you approach the car.

Can these be added to the car?

 

Heated seats can be fairly easy to add to any vehicle... it's just a heating element pad shoved behind the upholstery. Lots of shops that do upholstery or stereos can do this... price and quality of install will vary hugely... research the shops in your area.
Same goes with after market lighting... and some places do clean installs and some are total hacks... but these are two easy additions to your vehicle.

I thought heated seats were standard on all HSE's. Were they an optional extra?

 

The heated seats (front, rear) and steering wheel were part of an option package (Climate, I think) on the 2016 LR4.

 

In regards to add-one, are there no aftermarket cold air intakes for the 16 LR4??

 

Also what about aftermarket exhaust with a cold air intake? I haven’t found any company yet that has a performance parts for the 16 LR4?

 

I have yet to find an LR4 without heated seats and cold climate in my search for a used one in the US, but apparently the silver edition didn’t!

why would you want to add cold air intake to a properly engineered supercharged engine system?
