Default New 2013 LR4 HSE

Just did the end of lease business - and got what I thought was a good deal on a new 2013 LR4 HSE.

Black/Black, 7 Seats, Climate package and some other bits.

Very happy since pick up this morning - but what's the deal with the "roller cargo cover" being omitted in the US? I've checked - and seems it's the way.

Land Rover finally realized that 99% of new owners take it out and put it in the corner of the garage. I know I have done this with my LR3 and now my LR4.

So true - I had to vacuum the cobwebs off mine before handing it back.

It just looks a little spartan without it when the back seats are down.

Cool

Good luck with your new Rover, but what's with the "sunny" Seattle? If you want sunny, you need to come down to Aridzona!!!

There is a gap between the back cargo area and the middle seat when a seat or seats are folded down. If you use this area for a dog, he/she might (probably will) get their legs caught in this gap. It's impractical to use the roller cargo cover to cover this gap unless you are going to keep all the middle seats folded down. It won't work with one or two seats folded down, so you have to put something else in the gap, e.g., a folded towel. Not great, but better than a dog's broken leg.
