2016 SCV6 LR4: Intermittent Bank 1 Knock Sensor "Low Input" P0327(21)
Hey all - got a 2016 SCV6 giving an intermittent CEL for a knock sensor low input (P0327(21) Knock sensor (KS) 1, bank 1 - low input). Its happened 3 time over the past 6 months. I clear it and it comes back a couple months later.
Anybody have any experience with this? Does the "low input" indicate it's a sensor issue, or could there be a mechanical issue causing the fault?
I havent been able to find much. One post mentioned it was a bad sensor or wiring, another saying that sensor could go bad if coolant gets on it when replacing the cross over pipes (which I did 2 years ago).
Would suck having to replace that sensor, as looks like you need to take off the SC to get to it.
Thx!
