Default 5.0 cooling system vacuum tool, who has one

I need to drain and fill the coolant on my newly acquired Range Rover Sport 5.0. The vacuum drain and fill method seems to be the way to go. I am getting ready to buy one but I am unsure which make and model works best on the LR4/Range Rover Sport. There are several brands and models of the vacuum tool available. Does anyone have a vacuum tool and if so are you happy with it. Thanks Phil

Just remember, after filling :-

"Set the heater controls to maximum.

CAUTION: Observe the engine temperature gauge. If the engine starts to over-heat switch off immediately and allow to cool. Failure to follow this instruction may cause damage to the vehicle

Start the engine and idle until hot air is emitted at the face registers.

Switch the heater off.
Raise the engine speed to 2000 RPM for eight minutes.

Top up as necessary"

I ended up using a coolant vacuum tool from a buddy that has a Porsche Boxter. It worked perfectly. Seemed to suck most of the coolant out and then vacuumed the new coolant back in. Ran it up to temp and after the thermostat opened had full circulation and virtually no air in the system. So much easier and so much less stress about overheating the motor. I would definitely recommend the vacuum tool for anyone sitting on the fence. Phil

Have that same setup and it's stellar, I use it for every fill up now no matter what vehicle
