Default 8 Cylinder vs. 6 Cylinder

Looking at possibly upgrading from my LR3 and was wondering how the vehicle changed from 2013 (8 cyl) to 2014+ (6 cyl)

I have a 2012 LR4. love it. not a fan of the V6. in the 2014 and newer. Probably won't upgrade due to the engine.

I can say the SCV6 is way more responsive than my 4.0 V8 in my D1.

My wife didn't want anything older than 2015 when we bought her LR4, else I might have searched longer for a low-miles 2013 with the V8 given the fuel efficiency doesn't seem much better in the V6. Overall I'm happy with the performance, but I haven't driven a V8 LR4 or LR3 to compare it with.
