Any experiences with Navihua?
i just did the naviplus install on mine but this looks cool.
One thing I forgot to mention is that the original Land Rover navigation still works. I used a splitter for the gps antenna to both the Lr system and this new one.
long story short. I’ve Gaia gps as the default navigation on the new system and the Lr system when I want it. Most of the time though I use Apple Maps.

can you share an image of how the oem info is displayed?

bottom picture is the main Lr screen. The bottom half of the new screen always displays the speed and engine rpm when the lr system is being displayed. I’m sure there’s a way to customize it so it’s black but I haven’t looked to be honest.

Stu, so from what I could research, this system basically augments the stock LR system. Looks like you disassemble the dash, remove the stock head unit, then remove the screen from the stock radio. You replace the factory screen with the Navihua unit along with some new hardware (fiber optic box, power supply, etc). So that's how you retain all the original LR stuff like 4x4 info, amp control, bluetooth mic, CD player, steering wheel controls, etc, but add Carplay and other Android apps. Do I have that right?
You mentioned that the system frequently drops Carplay. Do you think that's just a FW thing that they can fix at some point, or is it more a statement to overall low quality of unit? I was originally interested in this unit because of the Carplay capability. In fact, I'd probably use that 99% of the time, so would want that to be stable.
Appreciate all your help and information here. Very valuable.

Essentially, yes, although I didn't touch any fibre optics.
The CarPlay drops out sometimes, but no more than the wife's brand new RR sport. It could be a phone problem or the head unit, I'm not sure, but its not that frequent that it bothers me. When it does drop out you just reconnect and a couple of seconds later its back.

I know this is a longshot but does anybody know if you can retain the rear seat entertainment controls? As far as I know the only way to turn the system on is through the infotainment screen. Once it's on it can be controlled through the remote.
I want to warn others of a terrible experience I had with Navihua. My unit didn't work, and customer support after the sale was terrible. Had to escalate to Paypal conflict resolution to get my money back. I'd recommend you save yourself a bunch of headaches and go elsewhere.
