Default ASFIR Skid Plates

I ordered these and got them installed today. Fit and fitament is not what I was hoping for. In addition, the trans plate needed bent to accomodate the catalytic converter. The front skid plate looks like a section is missing and there is that fitament issue. Thoughts?

I know ASFIR skids are very $$$$ however they are very well made. I am very surprised at the fitment issues. I would call the vendor or call ASFIR.

I have ownerd these for over 6 months and ASFIR customer service is baffled / confused by my issue. They blame it on LR as they "changed" the design (Add says these fit LR3 & LR4). I blame it on them for not keeping up with design.

I am in weekly contact with them and all I get is empty promises. Cannot recommend them for anything and if I would have bought direct instead of through Urban Offroad (who is also getting stone walled by ASFIR on other orders), I would have gotten AMEX involved and shut this down.

Very frustrating.

Zombie thread alert

Still have the rover? I just ordered the diff guard for my 10 yr old now lr3. After seeing your photo I am almost certain some fitting fun will be had due to the Magnaflow exhaust recently fitted which at very least is larger diameter tubing but it also seemed to hang a bit lower.... we shall see. I had a lot of custom work done to make the exhaust routing work with the Kaymar bumper.

Upon seeing how the routing was intended, I have determined the Magnaflow designers are nearly complete morons.
