Bluetooth Connectivity
Hey all, just purchased a 2011 LR4 and can’t seem to get the Bluetooth to connect to my iPhone 10. Has anyone else experienced this problem before? “Land Rover” won’t even pop up as a discoverable device like the manual says and how it did with my ‘08 LR3. Any insight? I thought BT was standard.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I selected the "Phone" option from the touch screen and then searched via bluetooth from my own phone, but no luck for Land Rover to show up. How do you make the vehicle searchable through the infotainment system outside of the obvious? Thanks for your help!
Thanks dlonesty. I recently purchased the Bovee 1000 and have been super impressed with the bluetooth audio. Is there anyway to get my phone to make phone calls through the device? Every time I go to make a call it boots it back to normal phone mode. Kind of frustrating that this vehicle doesn't have hands free calling and my 2008 LR3 did...
Not sure if you ever solved your problem, but I recently had the same issue that "land rover" wasn't showing up as an available bluetooth option on my phone.
Solution was to unplug the bluetooth module and reconnect it.
The module can only pair with soo many phones, after it is full, it is no longer discoverable. As far as I know, there is no way to delete old phones through a menu.
Module is located in the back right, inside of the side panel just in front of the cubby bin. Removal of some screws, weatherstipping and pillar panel is required in order to move / bend the panel enough out of the way to disconnect the plug.

Thanks for the reply and great info! Did you have a similar message on your Nav display? Was it pretty easy to get to the module in order to reboot it? Will give it a try tomorrow. Thanks again!
the wire you need to unplug/ reconnect is a small plug on the upper left of the module, when looking at it from inside of the trunk. The wire is about 1/16 -1/8 diameter.
It's a dumb "feature" to not be able to erase paired phones from the cars bluetooth module through a menu on the screen.
Would you be able to provide me with directions? Sorry to be a pain, just taking a look at it, I didn’t want to remove any of the stripping that wasn’t necessary and not be able to put it back on. Also, couldn’t necessarily see an access point.
