but that didn't do anything either. I'm assuming the GAP tool that's specific to your VIN or whatever may do the trick though. I tried mostly everything else.
Hi everyone, I’m also new to LR and I’m having the same Bluetooth connectivity issue with my 2011 LR4.
was anyone able to resolve this problem.
Is there a way to test and see if the BT module in the passenger rear panel is working?
Not sure if you ever solved your problem, but I recently had the same issue that "land rover" wasn't showing up as an available bluetooth option on my phone.
Solution was to unplug the bluetooth module and reconnect it.
The module can only pair with soo many phones, after it is full, it is no longer discoverable. As far as I know, there is no way to delete old phones through a menu.
Module is located in the back right, inside of the side panel just in front of the cubby bin. Removal of some screws, weatherstipping and pillar panel is required in order to move / bend the panel enough out of the way to disconnect the plug.
Please confirm the location. Because in this post you say behind the cubby, and another talks about it being in the cargo bay area behind the paneling.

My kids were in town for the holidays and used my 2010 Range Rover Sport for the last two weeks. I got in the truck on Sunday morning and no phone connectivity (although it did have 3/4 of a tank of gas!). I got the same message on the screen about "If your vehicle has the phone feature fitted, please pair and / or connect you phone" I tried entering a pairing code, but there isn't a way to do it. I tried the "talk" tab on the steering wheel, nothing. Any ideas? I don't have any codes. I plugged in my Gap Tool but couldn't find anything that was helpful. 2010 Range Rover Sport HSE 5.0. Has anyone had success with unplugging the bluetooth module? Thanks Phil
Success. I unplugged the Bluetooth module, plugged it back in and now I have Bluetooth back! On the Range Rover sport the Bluetooth module is behind the right side rear panel in the cargo area. Love this forum! Saved me again.
Well that was short-lived. I got in the Rover a few hours after resetting the Bluetooth connectivity and it crapped out again. Ideas? And to make matters worse, keeping with Range Rover quality....., I have now audio at all. The screen works fine, switches between modes, but no sound. Well,, the sound of silence.........(sorry for the Simon and Garfunkel joke...) Phil
