Default Buying TODAY - 2013 LR4 - Need Advice

*Rover Waive*

After driving a family members LR4 cross country and many other times we have decided to buy a used 2013.

I've browsed the common issues threads and identified the extended warranty seems to be important here.

We have narrowed it down to two options one of which is CPO: Certified Pre-Owned 2013 Land Rover LR4 HSE SUV in Santa Monica #J3326B | Hornburg Land Rover Santa Monica

The other is not: Pre-Owned 2013 Land Rover LR4 HSE SUV in Santa Monica #N3950 | Hornburg Land Rover Santa Monica

The strange thing here is that the non-certified vehicle seems to have a better history report including maintenance. The certified one seems to of been a demo and not as good of maintenance history. I'm hoping someone with experience can help chime in on which one might be the best option.

Aesthetically the noncertified black on black is our favorite.

Go with the first one. Second has had brake pads redone (rears twice): it has been an off road toy (my guess). Interesting, both needed new water pumps early.

Great call, there was also condensation in the headlight of the un-certified one. We decided to hold out and look for a better deal.

Don't forget you can often ask them to certify and provide the extended warranty on a non certified one. There are criteria it has to meet and may need a bit of work by the dealer but worth at least asking them
